If you are looking for coven witchcraft, you have found it. Although there are many who attempt to persecute or lie about our ways, wicca is a harmonious, peaceful and well balanced way of thinking. A wiccan life is a life which promotes oneness with all that is divine and all that exists. We hope your journey for information and inspiration has found it’s final destination…

Want to talk to a witch to become a wicth/join local coven?

Newly ex-Christian; I never really bought into it, and it is what I was raised as. But I just never really identified with it fully. There are some things that I believe about Christianity, but I don’t really think that I am someone who is or ever was %100 monotheistic.

I want to know about the different kinds of witch practices…kind of like under the umbrella of Christian you have Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Assembly of God, even Mormon consider themselves Christian. Since Wicca is an umbrella term too, or so I’m told, I assume there are denominations if you will of that faith, as well.

I just know that I can’t bear Christianity anymore; I can’t stomach the hypocrisy and the fact that it makes feel like I’m drowning in a pool of guilt. I feel good whenever I read my own cards, runes, or a book about witchcraft. I want someone to teach me what it’s about for the most part, and help me find the kind of Wicca that fits me best.

Before you start anything, you need to sit down and figure out what it is your most drawn to. For me I had been obsessed with Ancient Egypt since I was 9 years old. It only seemed natural to incoporate it into my practices.

There are different traditions to Wicca. Some are Hellenistic, Celtic, Greek, and Egyptian. Some are eclectic and draw from various traditions. Study as much as you can to find what it is your most drawn to.

Once you figure out what it is you do beleive, go to witchvox.com and search for locals and local covens. You can also check meetup.com.

Some suggestions:
Read anything by Scott Cunningham and Raymond Buckland. Raven Grimassi, Vivian Crowley, and Eileen Holland are also other great authors.

Remember to keep an open mind. Wicca is not for everyone. Study all sorts of traditions. You may find that your spiritual self belongs on a different type path than what you had originally thought.
