Odd wiccan initiation ceremony happenings. What do you think happened?
Ok, well I held a ceremony to initiate myself to the religion. But it as nothing much, and I was worried it was done poorly. But I don’t have the most supportive parents and as I am young and still technically a child, did my best by paying my respects to the Godess and God, and lit candles that had to be put out early I am afraid.
Afterwords I felt very upset I couldn’t hold a better ceremony. So I went to bed feeling as if I were going to cry. Then I heard a gentle womans voice soothing me, and telling me it was alright. Ind soon I fell to sleep.
What do you think happened? Who was it?
Well, it was a dedication, not an initiation. That being said, maybe the lesson you’re supposed to take from this is that it’s not okay to worship your divine parents while sneaking around behind your mortal ones, but that making mistakes is *not* a reason to beat yourself up.
