Which do you think is a better suggestion for a South Park episode?
Here are the ideas:
1. Cartman joins a neo-Nazi militia group after they hold a rally in South Park. At first, Cartman is glad to join them, but is disappointed by the realities of the neo-Nazi lifestyle (particularly the ‘survival of the fittest’ and actually killing minorities rather than verbally harassing them. In the end, Stan and Kenny break Cartman out of the compound (Kyle doesn’t do anything to teach Cartman the errors of neo-Nazism by example).
2. Cartman joins the Westboro Baptist Church after they picket the funeral of a soldier that died in Afghanistan or Iraq. Astounded, Cartman admires the WBC’s theology and even adopts the Phelps surname. The other boys drive all the way to Topeka to get Cartman out.
3. An episode on Wicca, where a new girl and her mother move to South Park. She happens to be a Wiccan, but Cartman starts spreading rumors that she’s a witch and ignorantly claims that she will curse anyone who bothers her, but Wendy and Bebe try to befriend her.
I love South Park and Cartman is my favorite character but none of these storylines really grabbed me. If I had to pick one, #1
