How would you describe or classify the magic John Constantine performs?
In terms of both the comic and the movie Constantine. From what I can tell, they both use some sort of mysticism spells, since they don’t use any spells involving incantations or wands. However, those who are better versed in magic I would like your expert opinion. Is it Christian magic? pagan? Wiccan? Satanist? Witchcraft?
It is semantic demonology.
And before jumping to conclusions, anything that deals with the study, fighting, changing, summoning, or removal of demonic or demonic type entities is part of demonology. Its not necessarily evil in origins, just dangerous.
