As a christian do you really believe that witches and people who practice wicca/witchcraft should die?
I don’t know the correct bible vs. but I know somewhere it says thou shall not allow a witch to live. If you believe the bible is the word of God, doesn’t this allow a Christan to commit murder without consequence? Please explain.
First of all, no one “practices” Wicca. It’s a religion, not an activity.
As for the Bible verse, Exodus 22:18, THE BIBLE DOES NOT SAY THOU SHALT NOT SUFFER A WITCH TO LIVE! The original word used to mean “Witch” is m’khashepah, which actually means “someone who kills with poison or magic.” So anyone claiming that the Bible calls for the death of Witches is a really pathetic Christian who doesn’t even know their own book. Seeing as Wicca did not exist until the 1950′s, someone would have to be really dumb to believe that it’s mentioned in the Bible in any way, shape, or form.
It’s really sad that I know more about the Bible than most Christians.
Some Christians actually do call for the execution of wiccans. Jonesboro AR: In the early 1990′s there was an attempted multiple murder by stoning. This happened during a march which involved many local Wiccans. The demonstration had been organized to promote religious tolerance and freedom in the area. One or more local ministers had preached that in Bible times, the people knew how to handle individuals of other religions – they stoned them to death. A prominent conservative Christian teleminister had arranged to bus fellow Christians to the march site. They emerged from the bus — many carrying rocks. Numerous injuries and deaths would probably have resulted, if it were not for the prompt, combined action of over 5 local police forces. They formed a protective circle around the marchers.
